RESEARCH

My scholarly work centers on representation, Africa, postcolonial studies, decolonization and governance.  I have written and published articles, presented at conferences, participated in intellectual forums and written books. For my dissertation, my work asks difficult questions about how Africa is represented, imagined, and engaged particularly in global education and development spaces. My research aims to challenge the structures that shape Africa’s representation and advocate for a just world.

As an educator, I value learning environments that are rooted in inquiry, critical thinking, and lived context. My scholarly works come from a place of curiosity, rigor, and questions about what we learn and who gets to tell and preserve stories.
