About

Somewhere between program evaluation, international development, and public health education.

PhD scholar focused on Africa’s representation in the global community. Masters in Education and Public health with my work centering on birth equity and equitable community evaluation.

"Many stories matter. Stories have been used to dispossess and to malign. But stories can also be used to empower, and to humanize. Stories can break the dignity of a people. But stories can also repair that broken dignity."

I want a space for me - something that says
“I am open to working with schools, organizations, or individuals with an interest in decolonizing service to the continent”

I want NGOs or organizations with school trips to Africa to consult with me before taking trips - or I can offer classes/courses on ethical travels to African countries - storytelling workshops.]

Are you a diaspora wanting to move back to the continent? Schedule your 1-on-1 consultations

I live in the hyphen of Africa and America (United States). I like to say, the hyphen between the African-American identity is where I live. I was born in Africa (Liberia) and lived my childhood and early teen years there before relocating to the U.S. where I attended high school and the rest of my long educational journey.

I love my dual identity.

The duality positions me to be both at home and a visitor when I’m traveling. I get to build connections as an outsider while also holding on to my authentic African identity as daughter or the soil. In every African country, I feel at home, but my lived experiences in the U.S., is equally important to shaping my life
